Moscow:The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced the successful downing of 1,214 Ukrainian drones over several regions within the country. The announcement was made on Thursday, highlighting the ongoing military engagements between Russia and Ukraine.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry’s statement detailed that the drones were intercepted by air defense systems across 19 Russian regions overnight. This development is part of the broader conflict where both nations frequently report defensive measures against each other’s military actions.

The exchange of such reports has been a regular occurrence since the onset of hostilities, with both Russia and Ukraine claiming to have thwarted numerous attacks from the opposing side.
