Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces have captured the town of Novonikolaevka in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region. This development is part of the ongoing military operations that were initiated in February 2022.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated that Russian troops have improved their tactical positions on several fronts. The statement claims that Ukrainian forces suffered approximately 1,370 casualties in the recent clashes.
Additionally, the ministry’s report highlighted that Russian air defenses successfully intercepted three missiles and 340 drones. On the ground, Russian units destroyed two Ukrainian tanks, further affecting the Ukrainian military’s capabilities in the region.
