Baghdad / NINA / – Russia has warned of dire consequences for the involvement of the United States and NATO in the war in Ukraine.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said at the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva that the most acute strategic threat is now represented by the United States and NATO’s policy aimed at further fueling conflict in and around Ukraine.

He added: Their increasing involvement in an armed confrontation is fraught with a direct military clash of nuclear powers, with dire consequences./ End
