Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, that its air defense forces destroyed 20 Ukrainian drones over several areas last night.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated: “Last night, 20 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty.” The statement further detailed that the interceptions occurred over multiple regions, highlighting the extensive reach of the operations.

The statement specified the distribution of the drone interceptions, with eight drones destroyed over the territory of Belgorod Region, another eight over Rostov Region, three over Saratov Region, and one drone over Voronezh Region. This incident underscores the ongoing tensions and the active defense measures in place across these regions.
