Russian Air Defense Downs 28 Ukrainian Drones Heading Towards Moscow


Moscow: Mayor of the Russian capital, Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, announced on Monday that the number of Ukrainian drones destroyed near Moscow has risen to 28.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel: “The Ministry of Defense’s air defense forces repelled an attack launched by four drones heading towards Moscow. Emergency teams are working at the site of the crash.”



Sobyanin had reported on Sunday that 24 drones heading towards the Russian capital had been destroyed.



The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its air defense systems had destroyed 121 Ukrainian drones overnight over various regions.
