Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 59 Ukrainian drones over seven regions of Russia overnight.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated in a recent announcement that operational air defense systems successfully targeted and eliminated 59 Ukrainian drones in a coordinated effort.

The ministry detailed the interceptions, specifying that 29 drones were destroyed over Rostov Oblast, 20 over Astrakhan Oblast, three each over Voronezh and Volgograd Oblasts, two over Crimea, and one drone each over Kursk and Saratov Oblasts. This operation highlights the ongoing tensions and active defense measures being employed in these regions.
