Baghdad: Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on Tuesday that Russian air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 14 drones flying towards the capital over a five-hour period.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, earlier, Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov announced that five people were killed and six others injured in a Ukrainian drone attack targeting the city of Chekhov and its industrial area southwest of Moscow. He stated that the attack damaged a power substation and an administrative building, and that shrapnel from one of the drones damaged a house and a car in the village of Solnyshkovo.
