Baghdad: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced, on Monday, that its air defense forces destroyed 78 Ukrainian drones last night over several regions. The ministry said in a statement: "From 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Moscow time, 78 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement added: "24 of them were destroyed over the territory of Bryansk Region, 21 over Belgorod Region, 9 over Voronezh Region, 9 over Smolensk Region, 7 over Kaluga Region, 4 over Moscow Region, 3 over Orel Region, and 1 over Kursk Region."
