Baghdad: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its air defense system shot down eight Ukrainian drones over Russian territory.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry explained in a statement that three drones were destroyed over the Crimean Peninsula, two drones over the Kursk and Belgorod regions, and one drone over the Sea of Azov.
