Volgograd: Volgograd Regional Governor Andrei Bocharov announced that the Russian Ministry of Defense’s air defense forces repelled an intense drone attack targeting the region last night.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Bocharov explained that “fuel and energy facilities in the Kotova area were damaged as a result of the fall of one of the drones, which led to fires;” stressing that “firefighting teams quickly rushed to the scene and were able to control the fire.”

He pointed out that Kyiv’s forces continue to target civilian facilities in various Russian regions on an almost daily basis using drones, while the Russian army continues its advance on various fronts, inflicting heavy losses on Ukrainian forces.

The Russian Ministry of Defense previously announced the destruction of a drone production workshop with a precision missile strike carried out by Iskander system near Kherson region.
