Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry reported today, Wednesday, that Russian air defense systems destroyed 104 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry stated: “Last night, attempts by the Kiev regime to carry out terrorist attacks using drones against targets on Russian territory were stopped.” The ministry detailed that their air defense systems were able to intercept and destroy the drones in various regions.

The statement specified that 47 drones were shot down over the territory of Kursk Oblast, 27 over Bryansk Oblast, 11 over Smolensk Oblast, and 7 over Tver Oblast. Additionally, the statement noted that 4 drones were intercepted over Belgorod Province, 3 over Nizhny Novgorod Province, 3 over Kaluga Province, and one each over Rostov Province and Leningrad Province.
