Baghdad: The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Sunday that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 25 Ukrainian drones overnight over several Russian regions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated in a press release that “overnight, air defense systems destroyed 25 Ukrainian drones.”

It added that “12 drones were destroyed over the Samara region, 3 over the Belgorod region, 3 over the Kursk region, 3 over the Saratov region, 2 over the Volgograd region, and 2 over the Rostov region.”
