Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Saturday, that its air defenses shot down 64 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated, "During the night, from 11:00 PM Moscow time until 7:00 AM, our air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 64 Ukrainian drones." The drones were reportedly neutralized in various Russian regions.
The statement detailed the locations where the drones were intercepted: "25 over the territory of Ryazan Oblast, 17 over the territory of Rostov Oblast, 8 over the territory of Tambov Oblast, 5 over the territory of Voronezh Oblast, 2 over the territory of Belgorod Oblast, 2 over the territory of Saratov Oblast, 2 over the territory of Lipetsk Oblast, 1 over the territory of Tula Oblast, 1 over the territory of Samara Oblast, and 1 drone over the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan."
