Moscow: Russian authorities announced that an intensive Ukrainian attack with dozens of drones attempted to target the capital, Moscow. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said via Telegram that Russian air defenses have so far shot down 65 drones heading to the capital. He added that drone debris was recorded falling in some residential centers on the outskirts of Moscow without causing any destruction or injuries, according to initial information.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency “Rosaviatsia” announced the imposition of temporary restrictions on the reception and take-off of flights at “Domodedovo” and “Zhukovsky” airports near Moscow, in addition to airports in several other Russian regions, including the cities of “Yaroslavl” and “Nizhny Novgorod” east of the capital, in order to ensure aviation safety.
