Russian Defense: Energy Facilities and Drone Depots Struck in Ukraine


Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Thursday, that its forces’ strikes hit energy facilities used by the Ukrainian army and sites for the production and storage of long-range drones.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, this came in the Russian Defense Ministry’s daily report, which added that temporary deployment points of Ukrainian and foreign military formations were also hit in 142 areas. The report’s data showed that the total daily losses of the Ukrainian army on various fronts amounted to approximately 1,395 soldiers. Ukraine lost more than 205 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the “North” group of forces in Sumy and Kharkiv, more than 230 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the “West” forces in Kharkiv and Donetsk, about 195 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the “South” forces in Donetsk, and more than 435 soldiers in the area of responsibility of the “Central” forces in Donetsk.

It added: “About 280 soldiers were killed in the Eastern Forces’ area of res
ponsibility in Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye, and about 50 soldiers were killed in the Dnepr Forces’ area of responsibility in Zaporozhye and Kherson. Russian air defenses also shot down 106 enemy drones over the past day.
