Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday the commencement of large-scale naval maneuvers, named “July Storm,” in crucial areas including the Pacific and Arctic Oceans, in addition to the Baltic and Caspian Seas. The exercises are scheduled to take place from July 23 to 27.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, these maneuvers will be conducted under the leadership of Admiral Alexander Moiseev, the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy. The exercises will see participation from the Northern, Pacific, and Baltic Fleets, as well as the Caspian Flotilla.

The Ministry emphasized that the primary objectives of the exercises include verifying the readiness of naval formations to execute non-standard operational missions. Furthermore, the maneuvers will test combat capabilities involving high-precision, long-range weapons, unmanned systems, and advanced models of military equipment.
