Moscow: The Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces have taken control of two new towns, while continuing their progress on all combat fronts, inflicting heavy losses on Ukrainian forces in personnel and equipment, and fortifying their positions on the battlefronts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, the Ministry said that formations of the "Centre" Forces Group took control of the town of Novoukrainka in Donetsk Province. It added that soldiers of the "East" Forces Group, for their part, were able to take control of the town of Timirovka in Zaporizhzhia Province.

Later, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces launched heavy strikes with Iskander missiles against a Ukrainian forces training center in the Chernihiv region. In its daily report, the ministry revealed the total daily losses of Ukrainian forces on various combat fronts, noting that their total losses amounted to approximately 1,255 soldiers.

Over the past day, Russian forces' strikes hit the infrastructure of a military airport, a drone production workshop, and a drone operator training center, in addition to temporary deployment points of Ukrainian army formations and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas. Russian air defenses shot down a long-range Neptune guided missile and 233 Ukrainian drones.
