Baghdad: The Russian Defense Ministry announced it had launched intensive strikes on Kyiv targeting industrial facilities and infrastructure. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that the Russian army carried out an intensive strike targeting Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities and logistics centers in Kyiv, as well as infrastructure facilities at the port of Yuzhny in Odesa.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated in a press release: “Russian forces launched a large-scale strike using high-precision air and ground weapons, and attack drones, against military-industrial facilities and logistics centers in Kyiv, and against infrastructure facilities at the port of Yuzhny in Odesa, used for the delivery and storage of military shipments, as well as fuel and lubricants destined for Ukrainian forces.”

For its part, Ukraine announced that two people were injured in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack, while several fires broke out and numerous buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of the Russian shelling. The Russian-Ukrainian war is witnessing a continuous escalation of attacks, with Russia continuing to launch missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian cities, primarily the capital, Kyiv.
