Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that air defense forces successfully destroyed 132 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory during the night hours.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry detailed that air defenses intercepted 54 drones over the Saratov region, located approximately 700 km east of Moscow. In addition, 40 drones were downed over the Voronezh region, while 22 drones were shot down over the Belgorod region. Nine drones were intercepted over the Rostov region, three drones each over the Kursk region and the Crimean Peninsula, and one drone was shot down over the Lipetsk region.

The ministry further indicated that Russian defense forces are actively repelling almost daily attacks by Ukrainian drones targeting sites in the border and central regions of Russia.
