Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense systems successfully intercepted and shot down a total of 99 Ukrainian drones over several regions across the country last night.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry detailed in a statement that among the intercepted drones, 36 were downed over the Bryansk region, 21 over the Smolensk region, 10 in the Kaluga region, and nine each in the Volgograd and Rostov regions.

The statement further revealed that four drones were shot down over the Republic of Crimea. Additionally, two drones each were intercepted in the Voronezh and Kursk regions, as well as over the Black Sea. Single drone interceptions occurred in the Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol, and Tambov regions.
