Russian Defenses Shoot Down 216 Ukrainian Drones Overnight

Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Friday, that its air defenses intercepted and destroyed 216 Ukrainian drones, mostly in the Krasnodar region, Saratov Oblast, and over the Black Sea.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense explained in a statement that "66 drones were destroyed in Krasnodar, 59 over the Black Sea, 45 in Saratov, 19 in Crimea, 8 in Volgograd, 7 in Rostov, and 4 in Belgorod, while the remaining incidents were recorded in Tambov, Bryansk, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, and Orenburg."

Earlier, Krasnodar authorities reported that a heavy drone attack last night damaged a civilian vessel, injuring three crew members, and caused a fire at an oil depot in the port of Novorossiysk. A resident of the city was also injured when debris from a drone fell on his house.
