Baghdad: The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday that its air defense systems shot down 69 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions in the past 24 hours.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated in a press release, “During the night, our air defense systems destroyed 69 Ukrainian drones.”

It explained that 16 drones were destroyed over Rostov Oblast, 15 over Samara Oblast, 15 over Saratov Oblast, 13 over Crimea, 3 over Volgograd Oblast, 3 over Kursk Oblast, 2 over Voronezh Oblast, one over Belgorod Oblast, and one over Bryansk Oblast.
