Russian Forces Recapture Five Towns, Claim Over 9,100 Ukrainian Soldiers Killed in a Week


Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Friday that its forces had regained control of five new towns in Kharkiv and Donetsk, in addition to eliminating more than 9,100 Ukrainian soldiers within a week.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry stated in its weekly report on the progress of military operations in Ukraine that between June 28 and July 3, Russian forces carried out five strikes against Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities, fuel infrastructure facilities, radar stations, drone assembly workshops, drone boat depots, and ammunition depots.



The report added that Russian air defenses shot down seven Storm Shadow missiles, six HIMARS missiles, one Neptune guided missile, and 36 guided aerial bombs, in addition to shooting down 1,172 Ukrainian drones within a week.
