MOSCOW: The Russian Defense Ministry announced the elimination of 1,765 Ukrainian soldiers, and the destruction of dozens of tanks and armored vehicles during the past 24 hours.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry’s daily statement on the progress of the military operation in Ukraine provided details of the ongoing conflict. The report highlighted actions taken by Russian “Western” and “Southern” forces, which have reportedly strengthened their positions in the Kharkov region. The statement noted that these forces successfully repelled multiple attacks by Ukrainian forces – two by the Western forces and three by the Southern forces.

In addition to the heavy personnel losses, the Ministry’s report also included the downing of a missile and 25 drones. It further stated that several tanks, armored vehicles, and ammunition depots were destroyed, marking a significant setback for Ukrainian military capabilities.
