Russian Ministry of Defense Announces Large-Scale Attack on Ukrainian Steel Mills


Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its forces conducted a large-scale attack overnight, targeting steel mills in the regions of Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kryvyi Rih. These mills were identified as supporting Ukrainian military efforts.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense further disclosed that infrastructure at a port and a strategically important transport facility in the Odessa region, associated with military shipments, were also targeted during the operation. The ministry emphasized that facilities in the Odessa region, responsible for supplying Ukraine with a significant portion of its arms and ammunition, were damaged in the attack.



In addition to these actions, the ministry reported that Russian armed forces utilized Guran drones to strike a logistics depot near Kyiv, in Gostomel, which was storing military supplies.
