Sadrist Movement’s Imam Offers Prayers for Kut Fire Victims

Kufa: The preacher and imam of the Friday prayers at the Kufa Mosque, Kazem al-Husseini, of the Sadrist Movement, offered his condolences for the souls of those who perished in the Kut fire tragedy. This gesture was made before the initiation of the first central doctrinal sermon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Husseini recited Surat al-Fatihah to honor the memories of the martyrs of Islam and the innocents who lost their lives in the recent tragic fire. Following this, the preacher and worshippers united in chanting phrases of resistance and support, including “No, no, America… No, no, Israel… No, no, Satan… Yes, yes, to Islam… Yes, yes, to the sect.”
