Makhoul: A force from the Salahuddin Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) has undertaken clearance operations to remove remnants of war in the Makhoul Mountains.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation involved detachments from the Explosives Directorate, the Intelligence Department of the Salahuddin Operations Command, and the Medical Directorate of the PMF.

The initiative focused on clearing the peaks of the Makhoul Mountains range from mines and other remnants of war. The Popular Mobilization Authority affirmed its ongoing commitment to secure the area, aiming to protect local residents and enhance security and stability within its jurisdiction.
