Riyadh:Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to discuss regional developments and strengthen bilateral relations across various fields.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the leaders focused on regional security and political developments, coordinating efforts to reinforce stability in the region. The Saudi Crown Prince expressed full support for Iraq’s efforts to promote dialogue and achieve lasting stability.

Prime Minister Al-Zaidi condemned the targeting of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, rejecting attacks on civilians and infrastructure. He emphasized Iraq’s stance against using its territory for actions compromising the security of Saudi Arabia or neighboring countries, underscoring Baghdad’s commitment to good-neighborly relations and respect for sovereignty.

The discussions also included enhancing security coordination to effectively address regional challenges.
