Riyadh: The Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources, along with the Minister of Finance, held a meeting today in Riyadh with the Iraqi Ministers of Finance and Oil, Faleh al-Sari and Basim Khudair al-Abadi.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, an official statement from the Saudi Ministry of Energy highlighted that Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and Minister of Finance Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Jadaan, engaged in discussions with their Iraqi counterparts, Faleh al-Sari and Basim Mohammed Khudair al-Abadi. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for enhanced cooperation across different sectors to benefit the shared interests of both nations.

The discussions also concentrated on collaborative efforts to bolster energy security and ensure the stability of supply channels. Both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining a stable energy supply, which is crucial for the economic growth and development of both countries.
