Baghdad: The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) denied on Sunday reports regarding the transfer of equipment from the Rmeilan oil fields to Kurdistan. SDF Spokesperson Farhad al-Shami stated in a press release, as reported by the German Press Agency (dpa), that “these claims are nothing but fabricated lies aimed at tarnishing the reputation of the SDF and sowing discord among the Syrian people.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Shami emphasized that “these allegations are completely unfounded and are not based on any reliable facts or field evidence.” Al-Shami added that throughout the past decade of the Syrian crisis, the SDF has worked to protect national resources and equipment, unlike in areas outside its control, and has maintained security and stability in the areas it has captured.
