Baghdad: The Ministry of Transport announced the arrival of the second shipment of ground equipment for Nasiriyah International Airport.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Airport Director Ali al-Gharabi mentioned in a ministry statement that this new shipment is part of a series of deliveries intended to equip the airport with necessary operational machinery. This equipment will serve both aircraft and passengers as the airport nears the completion of its construction phases.

Al-Gharabi further explained that the arriving equipment is a crucial component of the airport's operational infrastructure. It is expected to enhance the airport's future operational readiness by providing technical and ground support services in line with international airport operation standards.
