Baghdad: A security conference, led by Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, First Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadi, convened today via closed-circuit video link. The conference saw participation from several operational and axis commanders, alongside the Commander of the Ground Forces, the Director of Military Intelligence, and the Joint Operations Command Staff.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Joint Operations Command revealed that the conference featured extensive discussions on both current and future military and security plans. A central focus was placed on the mechanisms for redeployment and operational expansion within areas of responsibility, and on addressing potential security challenges.

The discussions highlighted ways to enhance the readiness of forces, stressing the importance of high-level coordination among various formations. This coordination is essential to ensure the efficient and professional execution of duties.

At the conclusion of the conference, Lieutenant General Al-Muhammadi issued directives that included specific timelines and defined responsibilities. He emphasized the need to review operational plans in light of current challenges, strengthen coordination with neighboring commands, and improve the handling of intelligence information. Additionally, the conference addressed preparations and capacity-building efforts to meet upcoming national obligations.
