Baqubah: A joint security force conducted a raid in the orchards of Sinsil Basin, located northeast of Baqubah, the capital of Diyala Governorate. The operation was part of ongoing efforts to secure the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the raid involved a joint security force supported by units from the Popular Mobilization Forces. The operation focused on searching the orchards of Sinsil Basin, within the northern Muqdadiyah sector, and extended to the banks of the Diyala River on the eastern side.

The operation is part of the Diyala Operations Command’s strategy aimed at securing liberated villages, re-sweeping orchards and agricultural roads, and penetrating rugged areas that could serve as potential havens for terrorist groups. The mission relied on intelligence information to identify targets, utilizing comprehensive security data to ensure the success of the operation.
