Security Forces Conduct Successful Operation in Al-Rusafa


Baghdad: A number of wanted individuals were arrested in a security operation in the Rusafa district. Security forces conducted the operation in the Fadwa Arab and Al-Fanahra areas.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Interior announced in a press release that the Baghdad Al-Rusafa Police Command launched the security operation and a preemptive search campaign within its jurisdiction. The operation aimed to inspect residential buildings, seize illegal items, arrest individuals with outstanding warrants, and apprehend those violating residency regulations. Additionally, the campaign focused on confiscating unlicensed weapons, removing encroachments, and enforcing law and order in the area.



The operation led to the arrest of four individuals wanted on legal charges, 21 individuals for residency violations, one person for possessing an unlicensed weapon, and another individual for possession of narcotics. All those arrested are currently detained pending legal proceedings.
