Security Media Cell Denies Presence of Foreign Forces Near Baghdad Airport


Baghdad: The Security Media Cell has dismissed circulating reports on social media platforms suggesting the presence of non-Iraqi soldiers or forces within the security deployment near Baghdad International Airport. The cell stated that all forces in the area are purely Iraqi security forces performing their regular duties.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell clarified that the current deployment of security forces and the establishment of checkpoints are part of a planned security strategy for the holy month of Ramadan. This plan aims to address the current security situation by intensifying measures in critical areas to regulate traffic and ensure safety during peak hours.



The Security Media Cell assured the public that the security situation remains stable and there is no unusual deployment beyond the approved security plans. It called on media outlets and social media users to ensure accuracy in their reporting and to rely on official sources for information.
