Basra: A meeting was held in Basra to discuss the security situation and the latest security developments in the region. The meeting was chaired by Asaad Al-Eidani, the head of the governorate's Higher Security Committee and Governor of Basra.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was attended by the head of the Provincial Council, Khalaf Al-Badran, security leaders, representatives from oil companies, and heads of the council's security and oil and gas committees. The focus was to address the ongoing security concerns and assess the recent developments affecting the region.
