Kirkuk: The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency detachments in Kirkuk Governorate seized banned narcotic drugs and arrested their possessor.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Agency stated in a statement that based on intelligence information monitored by the Agency’s detachments specialized in combating terrorism in Kirkuk Governorate, it was indicated that a person was in possession of large quantities of banned narcotic drugs. Judicial approvals were immediately obtained, and a working team was formed in cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics Directorate in Kirkuk Governorate.
The statement explained that after field and technical follow-up, the accused was arrested, and more than 1,200 narcotic pills and a number of drug abuse tools were seized in his possession.
