Baghdad:A senior source has affirmed that efforts to combat corruption remain ongoing and are steadfast, highlighting the involvement of other political parties in the Adnan al-Jumaili case. This includes individuals against whom arrest warrants have been issued.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the source stated that the verdicts issued against several defendants, including members of the Council of Representatives, are connected to cases related to the Adnan al-Jumaili file.
The source further explained that once the verdicts against the defendants become final and legally binding, the government will have the authority to manage the funds recovered from corrupt individuals.
