Al-Quds: Dozens of settlers performed Talmudic rituals at several gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque in al-Quds this Monday morning, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation forces.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, these rituals coincided with the “Feast of Weeks,” reflecting ongoing Judaization policies and daily violations of Islamic sanctities. The presence of Israeli forces highlights the tensions surrounding the site, which holds significant religious importance for both Muslims and Jews.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of the comprehensive Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank in October 2023, more than 68,000 settlers have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of the occupation forces. This has occurred amid tightened entry procedures to the mosque and the entrances to the Old City, exacerbating the already fraught situation.
