Baghdad: Settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in al-Quds on Sunday morning, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, 180 settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in groups. They engaged in tours of the site and performed Talmudic rituals, actions described as provocative by observers.
It is worth noting that since the start of the comprehensive Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, more than 68,000 settlers have made similar incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque. These actions have occurred under the protection of occupation forces, with authorities reportedly tightening entry procedures to the mosque and controlling access to the Old City.
