Basra: The religious leader of the Shaykhi sect in Iraq, Sheikh Abdul-Ali Al-Mousawi, met with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Iraq, Mohammad Al-Hassan, during his visit to the Diwan of the late Sayyed Ali Al-Mousawi in Basra Province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting was attended by Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani and Head of the Tasmim Alliance MP Amer Al-Fayez. Discussions centered on issues of mutual interest, focusing on the current internal situation in Iraq, strategies to support stability in the Middle East, and enhancing cooperation between Iraq and the United Nations. The meeting aimed to address existing challenges and explore constructive solutions.
