Baghdad: Secretary-General of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, received MP Amer al-Fayez, head of the Tasmeem Alliance, at his office in Baghdad today, along with a delegation of alliance leaders. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the political scene, emphasizing the importance of expediting the formation of the government to address the current political deadlock, aligning with the aspirations of the Iraqi people.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, both sides stressed the necessity of adhering to the constitutional and legal deadlines set by the Federal Supreme Court concerning the selection of the President of the Republic and the appointment of the Prime Minister. This adherence is crucial, given its direct impact on the stability of the political process.
The meeting further emphasized the importance of diligent work to serve the citizens, address the service and economic challenges facing Iraqis, and create a supportive political environment for achieving stability and development in the country.
