Baghdad: The Secretary-General of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, and former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi discussed the latest developments in the general political scene and stressed the importance of adhering to the official constitutional deadlines for forming the government.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from al-Khazali’s office noted that Sheikh Qais al-Khazali hosted Abadi at his office in Baghdad, where they addressed the overall political situation in the country.

The statement further detailed that the discussions covered security, political, and economic situations, emphasizing the necessity of strengthening coordination among national forces. This coordination is crucial to confront current challenges and support efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability, as well as improving the economic and service sectors to meet the aspirations of citizens.
