KIRKUK: Kirkuk Provincial Council has elected Sheikh Siraj al-Din Nadhim al-Asi al-Ubaidi as the new mayor of Daquq district. In addition, Adel al-Ishaqi has been appointed as the mayor of Dibs district, and Saadoun al-Jassem al-Farhan will serve as the mayor of Hawija. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the decisions were made during a recent voting session by the Kirkuk Provincial Council.
