According to National Iraqi News Agency, the incident occurred earlier when a ship belonging to the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) was targeted by a missile while transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported the attack but did not provide further details regarding the nature of the attack or the extent of damage sustained by the ship.
