Tel aviv: The Israeli Home Front Command announced on Friday that air raid sirens sounded in large areas of central Israel following the launch of a missile from Yemen.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Israeli Channel 12 reported that “authorities closed the airspace at Ben Gurion Airport east of Tel Aviv after detecting the missile.”

Israeli media reported that “defense systems intercepted the missile.”
