Basra: A security source reported that six people were killed in an armed conflict in a procession between cousins in the Abu Al-Khaseeb district, south of Basra. The conflict erupted on the pilgrims’ road, leading to the tragic loss of life.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the clash resulted in the deaths of five individuals involved in the dispute, along with a visitor who happened to be passing by during the incident. The security forces responded promptly to the situation, arriving at the scene to arrest those involved in the conflict and seize the weapon used in the altercation.
