Baghdad: Six newly appointed substitute members of parliament have taken the constitutional oath to assume their roles in the Council of Representatives. The oath-taking ceremony took place today during a session of the Council, marking the commencement of their parliamentary duties for the new session.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the members who were sworn in are Bashar Aamj Ismail, Muhammad Fawaz Muhammad Dhiyab, Jamal Ali Awaid, Salah Hadi Al-Zuhairi, Zahraa Jamil Al-Mayali, and Jassim Muhammad Al-Sharifi. These individuals have been appointed to replace former members and will contribute to legislative activities in the coming period.
