Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidan, welcomed His Beatitude Patriarch Mar Paul III Nona, Patriarch of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the world, and his accompanying delegation on Tuesday.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Judge Faiq Zidan congratulated His Beatitude on assuming leadership of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and around the world, wishing him success in fulfilling his religious and humanitarian mission, as stated by the Media Office of the Supreme Judicial Council in a statement.

The meeting addressed several issues related to consolidating the principles of citizenship and protecting societal diversity. The discussion also emphasized the importance of cooperation between religious and official institutions to support civil peace and strengthen the unity of Iraqi society.
