Baghdad: The exchange rate of the US dollar witnessed a slight decline against the Iraqi dinar in local markets on Sunday. The selling price reached 142,250 dinars per 100 US dollars, while the buying price reached 140,250 dinars per 100 US dollars.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, this minor fluctuation in the exchange rate reflects ongoing market adjustments. The shift indicates a slight change in the demand and supply dynamics within the local currency exchange landscape.
Economists suggest that such changes are part of the normal economic variations observed in currency markets, influenced by various factors including trade balances and monetary policies. The local markets may continue to experience such fluctuations as part of broader financial trends.
